Request account deletion
Send your request from the email address linked to your PlanLog account so we can verify ownership quickly.
Use the subject line PlanLog Account Deletion Request.
Include your full name, organisation name, and the email address or mobile number registered to the account.
Our team will verify the request and confirm when deletion has been scheduled.
2. What Data Is Deleted
Once a deletion request is approved, we delete or anonymise the account data that is no longer required for legal or operational reasons, including:
Account profile information such as name, email address, and phone number
Login credentials and account access records tied to the user profile
User preferences, notifications, and non-essential account settings
Support requests linked only to the deleted user account where retention is not required
3. Data That May Be Retained
Some limited records may be retained where we are required to keep them for legal, security, fraud-prevention, safeguarding, or tax and accounting purposes.
Billing and invoice records required for financial compliance
Security and audit logs needed to investigate abuse or protect the platform
Records we are legally required to preserve under applicable law or contract
Retained records are restricted to the minimum necessary and are kept only for the period required by the relevant obligation.
4. Deletion Timeframe
After we verify your request, we aim to complete deletion of eligible account data within 30 days.
Encrypted backup copies may remain in our secure backup systems for up to 90 days before they are automatically removed or overwritten.
5. Important Notes
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed once completed.
You may lose access to historical records, account settings, and related services.
If your account is managed by an organisation, we may need to confirm the request with that organisation before processing it.
